The best ESP32 board for prototyping out there. It is reasonably priced (especially considering the 16MB flash and USB-C port), nicely manufactured, has a battery charger circuit and even a decent documentation on github. The screen is about as big as possible to fit on a breadboard-friendly device, and even if you don't use it for your application, it comes in handy for debugging. TFT-eSPI supports the LCD out-of-the-box (Setup25_TTGO_T_Display.h), so it is just as easy to output text onto it as using Serial.print. Speaking of debugging, the only issue with this board is that GPIO14 is used for battery switching, therefore not accessible via a pad. This means that JTAG debugging requires some light modding (my preferred solution is to solder a wire from the diode on GPIO14 to the neighboring GPIO27 trace, but connecting a bodge wire from the diode directly to the ESP-PROG is also an option). Did I mention that it has not one but two on-board GPIO buttons, and the reset is nicely tucked away on the side? That alone makes it an instant get.

Delivery about a month. The packaging is good.
